How I'm Handling Stress | Blogmas Day 15
I know I joke about this a lot that I have four jobs: Nail Tech, Photographer, Blogger and Wedding planning. While this is true that I am doing these four things all at once, they aren’t all my jobs and I need to remember that. Juggling all four has been an experience let me tell you PLUS adding the craziest time of year on top of that is just a whole other level. Some nights I don’t get home until 7 from the salon when I started at 8. Some of you might think that I’m being a baby, but then I have to be a human and get my life organized + edit photos from my weekends sessions + blog + make sure my wedding checklist is staying on track. And then get to bed at a decent hour to do it all again the next day. 90% of the time my laptop is glued to my shoulder and I take it everywhere. If I have a 30 minute break at the salon I’ll try and answer emails or edit more photos.
Blogging started as just something to do, I had no idea that a year ago I’d be where I am today. I’m so grateful for all of you reading. Planning a wedding shouldn’t be a job, recently I’ve had to deal with negative people, negative opinions and more money being taken from me haha. I lost track for a second, and was pleasing everyone else around me, instead of making our wedding about US. At the end of the day it’s not about everyone else. Being a full time nail tech, part time blogger and photographer, plus planning a wedding makes my head explode sometimes! When I’m painting nails I’m stressing about the blog that I need to post tonight instead of focusing on my client. I’m only 19 years old, so I give myself a pat on the back for all I’m doing, but I’m not perfect and mistakes happen. So I wanted to share some tips that have been helping keep me calm during this crazy time!
Take a break
Allow yourself sometime without the phone/laptop and just decompress.
2. Self care
Do a face mask or get your nails done! Get some you time in so you don’t lose your mind!

3. Stay organized
I feel like when my life is messy, I’m messy. So I try and stay on top of things as much as possible, but have time for things to change in the schedule.
Go for a run. Do some yoga/stretches. I find I’m not as tense after I go for a run because I got all my negative energy out during the workout.
5. Let go
Let go of the things that are out of your control. It’s not worth the stress and just let things fall into place. Don’t waste your energy on things that won’t matter in a week.
Alright ladies, those are my tips to handling stress. I’m so grateful for Nicholas keeping me calm and worry free throughout this entire process. All of the stress will be worth it the day we say “I Do” in 85 days! It’s getting so close, we are more than excited to be husband and wife. Happy Saturday and Blogmas day 15!
